We enjoyed Villa Kiki for one week, Feb. 4-11. We were 3 couples, in our 60s. The villa is very comfortable, well decorated, and larger than it looks in the photos. The view is fantastic, the neighbors are very quiet, the location is ideal. The place is very clean (some ants in the kitchen can't be avoided) and everything worked well. The WiFi is reliable. There is plenty of hot water, the bathrooms are a good size and there are lots of towels. The beds and pillows are all comfortable. The kitchen is a good size and well equipped, we had dinner at home every night. The main supermarkets are all in one area just south of town, very easy to get to, and there is a Chinese supermarket 5 minutes south that is great. We did not bother to go anywhere else for snorkeling, the best site is at your back door! Fantastic amounts of fish to enjoy, its a different show every day! The pool is a good size for swimming or cooling off, and the outdoor shower is very handy. We basically lived on the patio except for sleeping! Karin was always available to answer questions and was very helpful with getting us settled in. There is a land line for local calls. We did a half day of deep sea fishing, but sadly, there were no fish to catch. And not much fish to buy on the island. Regarding InselAir - beware. Our CUR-BON flights were horribly delayed. 3 hours going, 7 hours on the trip back, and we missed our flights home, had to rebook and stay over in Curacao. I will never fly them again. Be sure to drive north and south, there are lots of interesting places to see. It was a perfect week at a perfect house, and we would love to all return to this fabulous setting.
